Types of Positions Available
Seasonal Employment
Due to the nature of our business, the majority of our positions are seasonal. Our short, seasonal positions are typically 3 months in duration. The majority of our seasonal positions occur during the months of June - August. Our longer seasonal positions are those that are anticipated to be at least 6 months but less than 9 months in length and those that are anticipated to be at least 9 months but less than 12 months in length.

Attractions
Silver Dollar City and White Water
The Parking Lot and Tickets/Front Gate teams are responsible for ensuring the safest and most timely entrance in to the park for our guests. These positions require a high level of customer service, as they are the first impression of our park. Individuals working in Tickets must have computer-keyboarding experience and be able to follow proper cash handling procedures. The White Water Tickets/Front Gate team is also responsible for maintaining the safety of the park by enforcing the no coolers on park policy.
Inside the park, Attractions team members are the folks you see working with guests as Ride Attendants, Game Attendants, Animal Area Attendants, Children's Area Attendants, Interactive Characters and Marvel Cave Guides. Keeping safety the highest priority, these individuals also need to be customer service oriented, enabling them to interact with guests in a friendly, welcoming manner. Game Attendants require a high energy, sales oriented individual who is comfortable speaking in front of large groups. The Attractions team also keeps our park clean during operating hours through the work of the Area Host/Groundskeeping team who keep our streets swept, bathrooms clean, and trash barrels emptied. Some positions require auditions, such as the Interactive Characters and Steam Train performers. All positions require attention to detail, compliance with safety standards and a great deal of interaction with small children.
Deckhand
Showboat Branson Belle
Deckhands are a part of the Operations team who maintain the interior and exterior of the Showboat. These folks perform regular equipment maintenance, assist passengers in the boarding process, and help to clean public access facilities. Deckhand positions may require lifting.

Demonstrating Craftsman
Silver Dollar City
Demonstrating Craftsmen at Silver Dollar City are part of the Merchandise team. These positions require previous experience in the skilled craft we are seeking. Some positions may require a great deal of interaction with small children.

Entertainment Positions
Silver Dollar City and Showboat Branson Belle
Our Musician and Performing Positions are filled through an audition process. Auditions are typically held late in the calendar year to prepare for the following season, or on an as needed basis. You may obtain information about auditions by calling our Entertainment Hotline at 417-338-8084.

Finance
Silver Dollar City
Finance team members must be detail-oriented and work in a fast pace environment. The Cash Control team is required to conduct continuous cash counts; lift, push, and carry up to 35 lbs., and must be available to work nights. Sales Audit positions require high attention to detail, basic accounting knowledge, computer experience, and 10-key.

Food
Silver Dollar City
The Food team is responsible for preparing, cooking, serving and selling food items to our guests. Cooks must prepare food in quantities according to menu and number of persons to be served, assure proper rotation of food, and perform regular maintenance of restaurant equipment. Dishwashers must collect, clean and sort all dishes, pans and utensils. Dishwashers aboard the Showboat Branson Belle must also assist with plating food and perform scheduled inventory of materials.
For some of our smaller food venues, we typically look for Grill Cooks, Bakers and Team Members to do preparation work, operate a cash register, clean dining areas and stock supplies. The Foods team also staffs the Concession stands located around the parks. The physical requires one be able to work in a fast paced environment, continuously stand on his or her feet for long periods of time, walking, bending, lifting and twisting.

Food Server
Showboat Branson Belle
Servers aboard the Showboat must greet and seat guests, assist entertainment cast with audience interaction to include participating in songs and dances, and perform basic serving functions. Server Assistants help with plating food and clearing and re-setting tables. Server and Server Assistant positions are physically demanding, requiring one to be able to work in a fast paced environment, continuously stand on his or her feet for long periods of time, walking, bending, lifting and twisting.

House & Grounds
Celebration City and White Water
The House & Grounds team helps maintain the physical appearance of the park. These folks may be involved in clean-up, trash removal and cleaning public access facilities.

Lifeguard
White Water
Lifeguards at White Water are trained on the job and in-service; therefore previous lifeguard training or certification is not required. These positions require basic swimming ability and a high degree of safety awareness. Positions are also physically demanding requiring one to stand for long periods of time in various weather conditions.

Maintenance & Construction
Silver Dollar City
The Maintenance & Construction team maintains the physical appearance of our park. At night, after the park closes, or in the early morning before the park opens, Service Technicians use equipment to clean the streets of the park. These folks may be involved in clean-up, trash removal and cleaning public access facilities. The Landscaping team is responsible for the maintenance of the park grounds. Skilled positions (such as carpenters, electricians, HVAC, landscapers, plumbers, and ride mechanics) are typically filled through the same process as year-round employees.

Merchandise
Silver Dollar City, Celebration City, White Water and Showboat Branson Belle
Merchandise team members that work in Retail shops must be able to maintain a friendly and caring manner while interacting face to face with guests and fellow employees. Employees must have a sales centered focus, be able to work with a computerized cash register and follow proper cash handling procedures.

Safety & Security
The Safety & Security team is responsible for keeping our park(s) safe. First Aid team members must be certified as an EMT or Paramedic in the the state of Missouri. First Aid provides care to both guests and employees. The Security team patrols the property to ensure the safety of guests and employees. They assist with locked vehicles, lost children, and First Aid services. Some positions require night shifts.
