With the promise of great weather for the holiday weekend, the Silver Dollar City Attractions dive into high gear with the 2008 opening of White Water. The 12-acre water park features rides from mild to wild, including the "chief of all rides" Kalani Towers. Other top Branson attractions in the Silver Dollar City family include Celebration City, starting seven-day operation this weekend. Celebration City stakes claim to the largest new ride in the Ozarks and two new animal-themed shows. Silver Dollar City’s Bluegrass & BBQ Festival continues, featuring numerous internationally-awarded performers and a special performance by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band on May 30.

At Branson’s tropical adventure park, White Water, families can surf more than 2 million gallons of water throughout the park that includes White Water’s newest and biggest ride ever, Kalani Towers, with its 7-story, 300-foot slides. With nearly 7,000 feet of slides and more than a dozen rides and attractions, White Water is the ultimate family summer experience.

Celebration City, Branson’s Biggest Nighttime Attraction, starts daily operation this weekend with presenting the biggest park expansion to date. Roaring Falls, a multi-million dollar water adventure, takes riders on an Amazon journey through fast-moving rapids and features a 5-story, 55-degree angle drop for an enormous splash finale. Also beginning this weekend, the all-new JUMP! The Ultimate Dog Show and Extreme Parrots showcase amazing performing animals.

Silver Dollar City’s Bluegrass & BBQ ramps up with acclaimed bluegrass performers from The Grascals and Cherryholmes to Dailey and Vincent and Grasstowne. The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band performs in a special concert on Friday, May 30.
