The Story of J.J. Fiddlesticks' Toy Store

The river has brought many interesting people through these parts, but few as interesting as the man known as J.J. Fiddlesticks.

J.J. came ashore here many years ago seeking a new life. He was an expert carpenter with a child's sense of wonder and imagination. He built a small cabin next to the river, near the town of Geyser Gulch. He quickly saw that the town was filled with children, and they had very little to play with. So J.J. decided to start building toy boats out of the plentiful woods surrounding the river. He dyed them with a special mixture made from berries he found in the woods. He gave the boats to the children of the town. People passing through the Gulch area noticed the boats and wanted one for themselves. So J.J. started taking orders and decided to build a small store to house his toy boats. He called the shop "J.J. Fiddlesticks, Toy Maker and Proprietor". He added different kinds of toys such as stick horses, pull toys, and science kits. J.J. just kept expanding as demand for his toys grew. He became known far and wide for the most unique toys around and has been located right here next to the river at Geyser Gulch ever since.
