A bluegrass classic is making a comeback!
Bluegrass band members of the 1920s, 30s and 40s would often gather closely around a single microphone, and balance their sound by moving toward or away from it.
The return of this technique has been made popular by many of today's top bluegrass acts. In celebration of this unique style, both amateur and professional bands were invited to participate in the Second Annual National Championship during Silver Dollar City's 2008 Bluegrass & BBQ Festival.
